The structure

How the sessions unfold

Step 01

Discovery Call

A conversation before anything begins. We explore your intentions, history, and what feels ready to move. This isn't a consultation — it's the first act of being witnessed.

Step 02

First Session — Pool

We begin in a contained pool environment. Warmer, calmer, more controlled. The body learns to trust the water here — and through the water, to trust itself. This is where the deepest letting go often begins.

Step 03

Second Session — Ocean

Where conditions allow, the second session moves into the open ocean. A different quality of presence. The body, already open from the first session, meets the living water — and the experience deepens into something that cannot be planned.

What happens
in a session

Each phase is designed to prepare the body and nervous system for what comes next. Nothing is rushed. Everything has a purpose.

Phase 01

Safe Space & Intention

Before entering the water, we create the container. Océano explains the process, establishes communication signals, and ensures you understand your boundaries. You are never asked to do anything you haven't chosen.

Phase 02

Grounding on Land

We begin on dry ground, bringing awareness from the mind into the body — preparing the nervous system for the transition into water.

Guided meditation to arrive in the present moment
Conscious breathwork — activating and calming
Postural awareness and somatic grounding
Gentle physical preparation
Phase 03

Water Immersion

The core of the practice. You enter the water and are guided through a sequence that moves from stillness to movement to full surrender — at your own pace, always supported.

Stillness — Being held in the water, floating, releasing muscular tension
Movement — Gentle stretching and fluid movement supported by Océano
Submersion — Gentle apnea (breath-holds), guided underwater movement
Release — Oxytocin activation, nervous system rebalancing, emotional unbinding
Phase 04

Integration

Returning to land, the session doesn't end — it deepens. This phase allows everything that moved in the water to settle and become wisdom rather than just experience.

Each session builds on the last. Together they form a complete journey of transformation.

Reset & Release

Letting go of the unnecessary

The first session is a clearing. We create space by releasing what has accumulated — tension held in the body, armour built for protection, beliefs that were never truly yours. The water receives all of it.

II

Rebirthing

Embracing the new version of yourself

In the space created by release, something new is possible. The second session meets you without your history. You discover what it feels like to exist as the person you were before the world shaped you into someone else.

III

Remembering into Oneness

Connection to the creation

The third session opens into something beyond the personal. The boundary between self and water, between self and world, gently dissolves. You remember — not as a concept but as a felt experience — that you have always been part of something whole.

What to bring

A swimsuit you feel comfortable in
A towel and a warm layer for after
A water bottle — you will be thirsty
Comfortable clothes for the grounding phase
An open heart and a willingness to not know

How to prepare

Come on an empty or light stomach — at least 2 hours before
Hydrate well in the 24 hours before your session
Avoid alcohol and altered states for 24 hours prior
If you have any medical conditions, inform Océano beforehand
Give yourself time after — don't schedule meetings immediately following

Every session is unique. These are some of the most commonly reported transformations.

Deep Relaxation

A quality of rest most people haven't experienced since childhood. The body remembers what it feels like to be completely safe.

Emotional Release

The body holds what the mind cannot process. Water creates conditions where stored emotion can finally move — safely, completely, without drama.

Nervous System Reset

The combination of water, breathwork, and supported movement directly regulates the autonomic nervous system — shifting from chronic activation to genuine rest.

Improved Breathing

Most of us breathe only a fraction of our capacity. These sessions re-educate the breath — creating more space, more oxygen, more life force.

Trust & Surrender

Learning to be held by the water teaches the body a new relationship with trust. This transfers — into relationships, into life, into the parts of yourself you've been afraid to let exist.
